Wrinkles and Fine Lines
Botox
There are several methods to improve wrinkles. Wrinkle-reducing injections such as Botox work by relaxing facial muscles, thereby enhancing the appearance of wrinkles. Learn more about Botox injections here.
With regular treatments, Botox can prevent lines from deepening. Our aim is to provide a “softer and relaxed look” without eliminating facial movement. If treatments are not continued, the muscles will gradually return to their normal function, and wrinkles will reappear. Additionally, Botox can reduce chin dimpling, improve a “gummy smile,” create a “lip flip,” soften neck lines, and alleviate excessive sweating and jaw pain.
Filler Injections

Skin Conditions
Seborrheic Keratoses or Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra
Seborrheic keratoses and Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra are brown, benign growths that can appear on the face, neck, and body as we age. These common growths often affect multiple family members. While they are not cancerous, they can be irritating and unsightly, leading some patients to opt for cosmetic removal.
Depending on the size and location, electrosurgery or cryosurgery are popular removal methods, both of which require little to no downtime.
Moles
Moles are common skin growths that can appear anywhere on the face, neck, or body. While many moles are benign and harmless, some may be an aesthetic concern or located in areas prone to irritation. For cosmetic reasons, or to alleviate discomfort, many patients choose to have their moles removed. Depending on the mole's size, type, and location, removal options include surgical excision or shave removal. These minimally invasive procedures typically result in minimal downtime, leaving the skin smoother and more uniform in appearance.
Skin Tags
Skin tags are very common and can be both physically bothersome and cosmetically unappealing. Depending on their size and location, they can be removed through cryosurgery, electrodessication, or simple snip removal.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cosmetic Dermatology
I have heard bruising can happen after Botox or filler. Is there anything I can do to decrease the risk?
Bruising can occur from any facial injection due to the many small blood vessels in the area. Botox and filler injections, especially around the lips and under-eyes, can cause bruising. To minimize the risk, avoid blood-thinning substances such as alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen (Aleve, Motrin, Advil), and Vitamin E for several days before treatment. Tylenol does not increase bruising risk. Additionally, Arnica, an over-the-counter supplement, can help reduce bruising.
When should I come in before important events, such as a wedding, for a consultation and potential cosmetic treatment?
We recommend scheduling a consultation at least six months before your wedding to begin your pre-wedding skin treatment plan. Avoid trying new cosmetic treatments a few weeks before your wedding to prevent any adverse reactions. If you have acne scars, start treatments a year in advance, as improvements can take time.
